Production is a very important aspect of the SWC game. Limited to Production factions (ships, items, weapons, vehicles and droids), One needs to be a member of one of these factions even to have access to production. Production can only be done in specific facilities; Factories, Shipyards, and the Factory Stations. In order to build, the production facility needs to be assigned the Datacard for the desired product. Datacards are owned by production factions and can be rented for a fee. Once the Datacard is assigned, all of the needed Raw Materials and Worker NPCs need to be taken to the Production Facility. Once the RMs and NPCs are in place, enter the facility and move to the command room.

To start production (while in production faction) you need to be assigned operator of the Facility. When you are assigned operator and are standing in the Command Room, the option becomes available to you to take command of the Facility under Position.

When you select the “Command Room” you can now control the facility. To start production, the first thing you need to do is select “Produce” from the Command room main screen

After Selecting “Produce”, your taken to the Production Queue menu. If you just need to start a product, and the facility is already “tooled”, the product will show up here. If there is nothing in the build queue, then nothing will be displayed. To Tool the Facility for a new product, select “Tool”. To add something to the Queue (that is already tooled), Select “Add”. As you can see in the picture, when building, you will be given the option to build in 4 locations; your immediate East, South East, South, and Southwest. Select the coords where you want to build the facility by either manually typing them in, or simply clicking that spot on the city map. Once done, you also need to name your city, select type, and select orientation.

After Selecting to Tool, You will be shown what the facility was previously set to, and given a drop box of current Datacards. Select the Datacard for the Product you are going to build. You will be given an ETA for the retool. Once everything looks good, select “Start Retooling”

After the retool is started, you will be shown a screen that displays % complete. Once the retool is complete, you can start production of that product. To Abort Retool, simply select “Abort”.

Once the Retool is complete (or if the Facility was already Tooled), you can now Add a product to the Production Queue. Selecting add will bring up the Facility is currently tooled to. Select the Quantity, Number of Workers, and Desired name for Product. Note: Each product has a specific Number of ideal Workers. By selecting the right number, production time is decreased. Im most cases this will be set for you (how many you were told to bring), but other times you will have to decide. Set it to the Number you have with you. Once everything looks right, add the Product to the Queue.

Once the Product is added to the Queue, it will show up on the main production menu. To Start the Product, select “start”. You can also edit the Queued item if it is wrong, or Delete it.

A pop up will now prompt you with a “Are you Sure”. If you are sure you did it right, select “ok”, and the production will start.

Once started, you will be taken back to the Production main screen. Here you can see what is being produced and the ETA.
